Police are appealing for anyone who may have travelled along the Stanthorpe Texas Road on May 17 or 18 and saw a man walking or hitchhiking to contact Crime Stoppers.

Landholders and residents in the area are also asked to check their properties in case Mr Hardgraves (main picture) has made his way onto their land.

He is described as Caucasian, about 175cm tall, proportionate build, short straight sandy hair with blue eyes.

Police hold concerns for his welfare as his behaviour is out of character.
