Senator Lambie’s son ordered to undertake Queensland rehab program

THE son of tough talking Independent Senator Jacqui Lambie has been ordered to go to rehab after facing court on a range of charges.

Dylan James Milverton today pleaded guilty to four charges of using counterfeit money, two counts of driving while suspended and one of possessing a controlled plant.

The 21-year-old who, according to his mother is battling an ice addiction, was handed to a two-month suspended prison term and 18 months’ probation.

He will also attend a full-time Christian-based rehabilitation program in Queensland, called Teen Challenge.

Milverton tried to purchase items using counterfeit $50 notes at businesses in northwest Tasmania earlier this year.

Senator Lambie, pictured, was not at today’s sentencing.
