Senior constable busted drink-driving
A police officer has been charged with low-range drink-driving after blowing over the legal alcohol limit in Glenbrook.
On Friday night, 11 December, police were operating a stationary random breath testing site on the Great Western Highway at Glenbrook.
Around 11.50pm, they stopped a car and performed a breath test on the 53-year-old woman who was driving the vehicle.
The test returned a positive indication for alcohol.
The woman, an off-duty senior constable attached to the South West Metropolitan Region, underwent a breath analysis which gave an alleged reading of 0.076.
As a result, the woman was issued with a field court attendance notice for low-range drink-driving. She is due to appear at Penrith Local Court on 21 January 2016
