Senior Constable from the South East stood down over ‘inappropriate conduct’

A Senior Constable from the South Eastern Region has been stood down from official duty amid allegations of ‘inappropriate conduct’.

The 45-year-old will be tasked to perform non-operational duties during an investigation in to his conduct.

The Queensland Police Service said in a statement the Senior Constable is accused of ‘inappropriate conduct in the workplace and in a public place’.


“In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct,” the statement read.

“This does not mean the allegations against the officer have been substantiated.”
