Serial killer link possible in mother and daughter murders
A SERIAL killer could be responsible for the deaths of a mother and her daughter, whose bodies were found more than 1,000km apart.
Last week, Police confirmed Karlie Pearce-Stevenson and Khandalyce had both suffered ‘violent deaths’.
The two-year-old’s remains were found stuffed in a suitcase in South Australia earlier this year and her identity had baffled investigators until calls to Crime Stoppers prompted probes into a link between the toddler and the body of a woman found in a NSW forest in 2010.
Police have now admitted, the murders could be the work of a serial killer and they are looking at connections with other violent deaths, but none have yet been made.
