A man has been airlifted to hospital in critical condition after getting trapped in a mixer at a workplace in the Scenic Rim this morning.
It happened on an emu farm in Coleyville just after 9.00am, calling critical care paramedics and the high acuity response unit to the scene.
It’s understood crews spent almost three hours working to free the man.

The rescue helicopter was on standby, ready to airlift him to hospital once he was freed around midday.
No other injuries were reported in the incident.
The man – believed to be in his 50s – was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
