Serving police officer charged with indecent assault

A serving NSW police officer has been charged with indecent assault and performing an act of indecency.

The officer, who is stationed in the South West Metropolitan Region, was arrested at Green Valley Police Station about 10.00am Thursday.

In a statement, NSW police said the three offences allegedly occurred in November and December 2016 and February 2017.

The incidents involved a 42-year-old Senior Constable allegedly indecently assaulting a colleague.

The 2016 incidents allegedly occurred while the two officers were off duty while the final incident allegedly happened while the two were on duty.

 

The officer was granted conditional bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court on Thursday 6 July.
