Several injured after spate of Gold Coast crashes

Paramedics have been kept busy overnight following a series of crashes across the Gold Coast.

Two cars collided on Abraham Rd in Upper Coomera near the M1 exit at around 7.40pm on Thursday night.

Three people were assessed by paramedics at the scene.


A woman in her 30s had suffered lower leg pain while a boy was suffering chest pain.

Both were taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions while a male in his 40s did not require hospitalisation.

A bus and car collided on Olsen Avenue at Arundel at around 9.10pm injuring two people.

A man in his 60s suffered shoulder pain while a woman in her 60s was suffering neck pain.

Both were taken in a stable condition to the Uni Hospital while a woman in her 50s decline transport.

A man in his 20s later ended up in hospital after a single-vehicle crash on Manor Circuit in Hope Island just before 10.30pm.

His injuries are not known.

Paramedics were later called to Ripple Court in Coomera just after midnight after a car had crashed into a tree.

A female was suffering a leg laceration and was taken to the Uni Hospital in a stable condition.
