Several injured in German restaurant explosion
UPDATE: One person has died and several others have been injured in an explosion outside a restaurant in Ansbach, Germany.
Local media report the explosion was a deliberate attack with the blast believed to have been caused by an explosive device placed on the footpath in front of a wine bar.
A major police operation is currently underway in the German city.
A music festival which was scheduled to take place in the area has since been cancelled.

The incident is the latest in a string of horror attacks in the country in recent days.
On Friday, nine people were shot dead in a shopping centre in Munich. While a woman was killed and another two injured by a man armed with a machete in Reutlingen on Sunday.

The cause of the blast is currently unknown however there are reports of a possible gas leak.
Police and rescue workers are on scene with reports at least one person has died and ten others wounded.

The country has already been through two horror incidents in recent days.
