Aussie heartthrob Adam Demos, who shot to international fame for his role in the steamy Netflix show Sex Life, has been locked in to star in a new movie set to be filmed on the Gold Coast.
The currently untitled romantic comedy is being written by Elizabeth Hackett and Hilary Galanoy, the brains behind the streaming giant’s other cheesy but brilliant rom-com Falling Inn Love.
The new flick also stars Hollywood actress Victoria Justice – who plays an LA wine-company executive who travels to an Australian sheep station to land a major client.

Whilst in the land down under, she ends up working as a ranch hand with a “rugged local” and I’m sure we can all assume what happens next…
It’s understood the Netflix movie will be shot in the Gold Coast Hinterland from later this month and will be supported by the State Government through Screen Queensland’s Production Attraction Strategy.
It’s a massive boost for the state’s film industry, with the movie set to provide more than 120 local jobs.
“This new Netflix film is the latest in a string of domestic and international productions continuing to fuel the state’s screen boom which is critical to our economic recovery,” Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said.
“This project is a strong example of how our Production Attraction Strategy benefits Queensland’s local screen sector via exciting co-production arrangements for local businesses, such as Hoodlum Entertainment, one of the state’s most successful production companies.”
More to come.
