Shane Warne reveals he is writing a song

SPIN king Shane Warne is writing a song for one of the biggest bands in the world…..apparently.

News.com.au reports one of the cricketer’s famous musician friends asked him to write a song.

“The song’s basically about life,” he said.

“I’m just putting it down. It could be absolute rubbish but I’m trying. I’m giving it to a mate who is in a pretty cool band and I’m going to see what he thinks of it.”

Warnie remained tight-lipped about the famous friend’s name, but did mention he is part of  “a big band, one of the biggest in the world”.

The 44-year old has also reportedly scored himself a new girlfriend – Sydney salon owner Zanbagh Khalili.

Women’s Weekly reports Warne is smitten with the 29-year-old brunette and the pair have been spotted out and about in Sydney.

Warne ended his relationship with fiancee Liz Hurley in December.
