One of the iconic cows stolen from Cav’s Steakhouse at Labrador this week has been found.
Duey was taken from outside the restaurant sometime between Sunday night and Tuesday morning, prompting owners to issue a plea for its return.
After being missing for a few days she was found dumped on the footpath on the Gold Coast Highway this morning just metres from the restaurant.

Owner Maree Cavill said they’re glad she’s back.
“She’s a little worse for wear, she’s lost a hoof, she’s lost a plate, her tails gone, but she’s back”, she told myGC.
“We won’t put her back in the paddock for a little while yet. We’ll try and give her some TLC first and some loving but (the) good thing is that’s she back.
Mystery still surrounds who stole Duey and why, but Ms Cavill says that’s not important now.
“We don’t know who took her but it doesn’t matter, she’s back.”
It’s not the first time thieves have targeted Cav’s famous cows.
Huey was stolen from outside the restaurant in December but was found the next day in a nearby street.
