Shooting in Sweden leaves one dead, four injured
A young man is dead and four other people have been injured following an outdoor shooting in Sweden.
It’s understood the shooting happened in the city of Malmo just after 8pm, Monday local time.
Local police say the incident is not believed to be terror-related.
“There are no signs that this is terror-related,” police spokesman Fredrik Bratt said.
“It is probably a shooting between criminal individuals”.
Officers confirmed in a statement a short time ago that one of the wounded men had passed away.
“One of the injured, an 18-year-old man, has died in hospital,” the statement reads.
A crime scene has since been established, with security at the hospital also stepped up.
