Shot fired inside Tweed home
A TWEED couple have been left shaken after intruders fired a gun inside their house.
The pair were at home around 10pm on Saturday when they throught they heard people downstairs. They then heard a loud bang and saw two men running away along Tweed Valley Way.
The men got into a car and left the scene.
Police went to the Condong house and have confirmed, initial inquiries indicate someone forced entry and fired a single projectile into a cupboard.
No one was injured and it’s not believed any items were stolen.
Forensic Services Group officers are examining the home and police investigations are continuing by Tweed/Byron Detectives.
