Shots fired at home in Sydney’s west

A crime scene has been set up in Sydney’s west, after shots were fired into a home.

Police have revealed, a number of windows at the Rooty Hill property were shattered as gunfire rang out, about 9.45pm on Thursday.

Three people inside the Albert Street home at the time were uninjured.


Police from Mt Druitt Local Area Command were told about the incident on Friday and established a crime scene.

A number of projectiles were found and taken for testing.

Detectives are now appealing for information from anyone who has information about the incident.
