Showers set to return to the Gold Coast
GOLD Coasters can expect a rather cloudy day today, with showers forecast to bring the sunny autumn weather to an abrupt halt.
Scattered showers are expected to develop about the coast this morning – becoming less likely during the evening – with an 80 per cent chance of delivering 3 to 10mm of rain to the city.
A top of 22 degrees is expected, before an overnight low of 15 tonight.
The BoM also mentions the chance of thunderstorms from the early afternoon in their forecast.
Partly cloudy conditions are forecast to hang around, with a shower or two also possible on each day leading into next week.
Top temps of 24-25 are expected over the weekend.
