One of the most iconic cartoon families has been pulled from free-to-air TV in Australia after the Ten Network failed to strike a deal with 21st Century Fox.
It’s understood hit shows including The Simpsons, Modern Family and This Is Us were axed from the channel this month following a breakdown in negotiations between the two networks.
A Channel 10 spokesperson confirmed the news, telling the ABC “Fox content is not playing on Ten at the moment.”

According to reports, the struggling network and its administrators Korda Mentha tried to reduce its current contract costs to Fox by choosing which content to keep on air, and which to dump.
It’s understood the networks tried desperately to reach an agreement, but to no avail.
The latest fallout comes after Network 10 announced in June that it would be placed into voluntary administration.
