Sydney Harbour’s hosted a world first procession of cruise ships, which formed a “V”.
The entire P and O fleet made its way into the harbour on Wednesday morning, the first time all five ships have been in the same place.
Many gathered before dawn with a picnic breakfast to witness the historic display, some in fancy dress.

Singer Jessica Mauboy and Kate Fisher, of Home and Away fame, made appearances.
The host invited the women to christen two vessels, naming them the “godmothers”.

And then this appeared on Facebook.
Then they christened two P and O cruise ships, calling out their names Pacific Aria and the Pacific Eden both saying “may God bless her and all who sail on her”.
The ships have been named after young Sydney sisters Aria and Eden, who also attended today’s festivities.
Immediately after the christening fireworks were set off.
Jess sang the National Anthem during the ceremony. It comes after she caused a stir by deciding not to sing the Anthem at the Melbourne Cup, later blaming a panic attack.
