FORMER Australian Idol winner Kate DeAraugo has said she is “sorry” after being charged with drugs and weapons offences.
The 31-year-old briefly appeared in Bendigo Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday morning to face charges of possessing ice, drug driving, breaching bail and possessing a knife and tomahawk.
Outside court, DeAraugo told reporters “Of course I am sorry” when asked about her actions.

Her case has been adjourned until November 15.
