That sinking feeling… Car plunges into Gold Coast backyard pool
A car has taken a dip in a Gold Coast family’s backyard pool.
It’s understood the owner of the vehicle forgot to put the handbrake on, resulting in the car rolling down a hill at Arundel, launching over a retaining wall and diving into the pool.
The accident happened just after 6.45am this morning.
Luckily, no one was hurt.
A crane has since been called in to remove the vehicle from the water.
