Woman stabbed in the head in NSW, sister charged

A WOMAN has been charged over the alleged stabbing of her sister in NSW.

The injured woman, aged 51, sought help from officers at Glebe Police Station around 3.20pm on Monday afternoon.

After noticing the woman was suffering a stab wound to her head, officers immediately rendered first-aid before she was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a stable condition.


Following investigations, police tracked down a 46-year-old woman at Walla Mulla Park in Woolloomooloo today.

She was arrested and taken to Kings Cross Police Station where she was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm (DV).

The woman was refused bail and is due to appear before Central Local Court today.
