Six injured in horror 10 vehicle crash on Qld’s Gateway Motorway

Six people have been taken to hospital following a 10 vehicle crash on the Gateway Motorway.

The accident, involving eight cars and two trucks, occurred at Bald Hills just after midday.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed five crews attended the scene of the crash, with one person having to be cut free from a vehicle.


Four patients have been taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital and two have been transported to the Prince Charles Hospital.

All six are in a stable condition.

Motorists have been urged to avoid the area with southbound lanes of the motorway closed.

Heavy delays are currently being experienced.
