Six injured, one trapped after mini-bus collides with car in Sydney

A WOMAN is recovering in hospital following a horror head-on crash between a car and a mini bus in Sydney’s west.

The two vehicles collided head-on along the Mulgoa Road in Mulgoa around 2pm on Wednesday.

A female passenger in the mini bus was trapped in the wreckage for some time before she was cut free.


She was assessed by paramedics at the scene before being transported to Westmead Hospital with leg and arm injuries.

The female driver of the car was also injured. She too was taken to Westmead Hospital with less severe injuries.

Four other passengers in the bus were also hurt. They were taken to Nepean Hospital as a precaution with only minor injuries.

Investigations into what caused the crash are continuing.
