Six people arrested over Sydney cocaine syndicate

Police have arrested and charged six people in relation to an alleged cocaine syndicate that was operating the Sydney metropolitan area.

Strike Force Morti, comprising officers from Botany Local Area Command assisted by Redfern Region Enforcement Squad, was established in April this year to investigate the supply of illicit drugs, primarily cocaine, in the Sydney metropolitan area.

Inquiries revealed a sophisticated syndicate was operating in the greater Sydney area, involving a number of individuals that were allegedly distributing cocaine from several properties across Sydney.
