Six people hospitalised in separate incidents across the Gold Coast

Paramedics have been kept busy on the Gold Coast overnight, responding to a number of crashes and woundings.

Crews were first called out to a crash in Pimpama, which happened along the M1 around 9.00pm.

A man was hospitalised with leg and back pain, but is believed to be in a stable condition.


Paramedics then rushed to Robina, following reports of another traffic crash in Robina.

It happened along the Robina Town Centre Access road around 9.40pm, with the woman taken to the Robina Hospital with minor injuries.

Later on, a man suffered a head injury after his skateboard collided with a car in Ashmore.

It happened along Currumburra Road near Southport Nerang Road around 10.30pm.

He’s luckily in a stable condition at the Gold Coast University Hospital.

Two people were then hospitalised after an alleged assault incident in Surfers Paradise.

It happened along the Esplanade around 12.40pm, with both taken to hospital in stable conditions.

Queensland Police say they’re not aware of the incident.

Also overnight, a neighbourly dispute turned violent in Biggera Waters, with a man needing to be hospitalised after he was stabbed in the hand.
