Six people hospitalised in two separate Gold Coast crashes

Multiple people have been hospitalised after a couple of crashes on the Gold Coast last night.

Emergency services were first called to Southport, where two vehicles collided, causing one to roll, along Anne Street near Minnie Street just after 7.00 pm.

A man and woman in their 60s and a woman in her 20s were briefly assessed at the scene before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.

They’re all understood to be in stable conditions.

A short time later, paramedics were called to Mermaid Waters after a single-car rolled on Markeri Street.

It happened just before 8.00 pm, with three men in their 20s all requiring treatment.

They had to be taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital, all in stable conditions with minor injuries.
