Six teens arrested after nine people pile out of crashed stolen BMW

Six teenagers have been arrested following a single vehicle crash in Melbourne.

The crash happened on the Westgate Bridge at around 2am this morning.

It’s understood a stolen black BMW sedan wagon was travelling outbound on the Westgate Freeway when it veered right near Todd Road and crashed into a pole in the centre median.

Police said nine people were travelling in the car when it crashed.

A female passenger was taken to hospital with critical injuries.

Six teenagers, including one female, were arrested at the scene.

They were this morning assisting police with their enquiries.

The BMW was reported stolen from a Truganina address between 12.30pm and 1.30pm on Thursday.
