The 22-year-old pleaded guilty last year to causing grievous bodily harm to her four-year-old daughter, after giving her doses of chemotherapy drugs over a 10 month period.
The drugs, which were purchased over the internet, made the child seriously ill and resulted in her being admitted to hospital.
Prior to her arrest, the woman would post regular updates of her daughter’s condition on social media sites and at one point even requested donations for medical expenses.
The child has since been given a clean bill of health.
The 22-year-old mum is expected to be sentenced in a Brisbane court today.
