Skateboarder dies in hospital after being hit by car

A MAN who was hit by a car while riding his skateboard north of Brisbane has sadly in hospital.

The 39-year-old man was struck on Edmund Street at Kippa Ring around 10.15am last Sunday.

He was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with serious head injuries.


Sadly, police released a statement today confirming the man was pronounced dead on Tuesday, June 19.

The Forensic Crash Unit is now investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
