Snake bites woman on both legs in Logan
A WOMAN has been rushed to hospital after being bitten by a snake on both legs.
It’s understood the woman was repeatedly struck by the slithering serpent at a house on Kirk Road in Chambers Flat.
A Queensland Ambulance crew was called to the scene just before 7am on Wednesday.
The woman was treated at the property by paramedics before being taken to Logan Hospital in a stable condition.
A QAS spokesperson said the snake involved is suspected to have been a carpet snake.
