The Gold Coast will see a rare touch of snow this winter, with Dreamworld announcing they will be hosting a Winterfest celebration from Saturday 29 June – Sunday 21 July.
The theme park will be transformed into a winter wonderland for the occasion, with a unique walk-through snow-globe, a tobogganing slope, an ice-skating rink in the Dreamworld Exhibition Centre, and much more.
Dreamworld spokesperson, Paul Callander said Winterfest is set to be the largest winter themed experience on the Gold Coast, featuring thrills suited to all ages.

“Winter is coming to Dreamworld. Since our winter days on the Gold Coast are more like a cool summer’s day globally, we wanted to bring the traditional white winter to our neck of the woods,” he said.
Winterfest will arrive at Dreamworld off the back of ABC KIDS Month; which is still underway.
“It is an exciting year for us with an array of world-class acts taking the stage here at Dreamworld, including Cosentino in April, ABC KIDS Month between 6 May to 6 June and Winterfest coming soon,” Mr Callander said.
