Socceroos announce squad for crucial World Cup Qualifier
Ange Postecoglou has named a preliminary 30-man squad for the Socceroo’s two-leg play-off against Honduras.
The Aussies will travel to San Pedro Sula on Saturday 11 November for the first leg, we’ll host the Hondurans in Sydney on Wednesday 15 November.
The squad will be trimmed to 23 players next week, giving our country’s best footballers another round of club matches to prove their form and fitness.

The squad is boosted by the return of skipper Mile Jedinak, who’s recovering from an ongoing groin injury.
Jedinak will be a vital cog in Australia’s midfield which will be missing Mark Milligan and Matthew Leckie for the away leg due to suspension.
Brad Smith is the only omission from the squad which overcame Syria.
He’s suffering a hip injury and is expected to be sidelined for some time.
