Socceroos drop 3 spots in world rankings
The Socceroos have dropped three places in the official world rankings.
The Australian side is now 40th in the FIFA rankings following their loss to Norway and draw with Colombia in two friendlies last month.
Germany is still at the top of the rankings despite their recent loss to No.2 Brazil.
Belgium rose two places to No. 3, while Portugal and Argentina each dropped one to Nos. 4 and 5 after losing friendlies.
Spain fell two to No. 8 and Russia fell three to No. 66.
No. 70 Saudi Arabia is the lowest ranked World Cup team.
