Socialite Lady Susan Renouf loses battle with ovarian cancer

Socialite Lady Susan Renouf has reportedly died in Sydney on her 74th birthday.

The always fashionable Lady Renouf finally lost her battle with ovarian cancer according to the Herald Sun.

Only recently the paper says she attended a small birthday celebration for close friend Jean Pratt, who’s married to recycling guru Richard Pratt.

Over the years she made headlines for a series of high-profile marriages.  She wed Liberal politician Andrew Peacock in 1963.  He became known for leading the Coalition to two defeats in 1984 and 1990.

When that relationship ended in divorce she tied the knot with British gambling tycoon Robert Sangster in 1978.

And finally she married Sir Frank Renouf, a New Zealand financier, in 1985.

Two years ago Lady Renouf was told she had “masses” of cancer through her body and now sadly she has passed away.
