Solider critically injured in training exercise
AN AUSTRALIAN Soldier has been critically injured during a training exercise in the Northern Territory.
The Australian Defence Force have launched an investigation as to how the soldier was hurt in a vehicle accident at the Mount Bundy Training Area today.
He was airlifted to a local civillian hospitaland has been flown to hospital.
The soldier’s family has been notified and army is providing support.
Meantime, a Royal Australian Air Force G-wagon has rolled in a national park north of Newcastle in New South Wales, but no has been injured.
No one was hurt. The incident is also under investigation.
