Son arrested after police discover body, believed to be missing Melbourne mother

A BODY, believed to be missing mother Penny Bailey, has been found in bushland in Melbourne.

Bailey was last seen alive at her Mont Albert home on Sunday, with police arresting her 34-year-old son Stephen Bailey four days later.

Bailey was only in his underwear and running along a busy street in Melbourne’s north when he was arrested Thursday morning.

He was transported to hospital for an unknown condition.

A crime scene has been setup at Ms Baileys home, which she shared with her son after homicide detectives found blood inside the townhouse.
