TWO brothers will appear in a Sydney court today, charged over the alleged manslaughter of their mother.
The 73-year-old woman died while in palliative care at Blacktown Hospital in September last year.
Her two adult sons, aged 39 and 42, are accused of neglecting her and denying her vital on-going care which is believed to have lead to her hospitalisation.

“Investigators were contacted by health practitioners in the belief the woman was admitted to hospital after she was allegedly denied on-going care and medical assistance by her carers,” NSW Police said in a statement.
Strike Force Loire was formed to investigate the woman’s death and, following prolonged investigations, her two sons were arrested at Granville Police Station on Wednesday morning.
Both men have since been charged with one count each of manslaughter.
They were remanded in custody and due to appear in Fairfield Local court today.
