The gold rush continues on the Gold Coast with a mystery Southport player taking home $2.5 million in Saturday’s Gold Lotto superdraw.
The Gold Coast resident held one of the eight division one winning entries in the $20 million superdraw.
However, how the division one winner plans to spend their windfall will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.

The win comes one week after two Gold Coast residents scored division one in last weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw, each taking home $428,018.10.
Saturday’s winning ticket was was purchased at Shamrock News & Lotto at Southport Central.
Shamrock News & Lotto owner Hao Zou said it was the third division one winning entry his outlet had sold.
“It’s always exciting knowing these prizes are going to our customers,” he said.
“What a life-changing win! We are all so happy for the winner. “Congratulations to them! I hope they really enjoy their prize.”
The winning numbers in Saturday’s Gold Lotto draw were 43, 22, 1, 4, 3 and 42 while the supplementary numbers were 24 and 25.
