Spate of car accidents across the Gold Coast

There have been several crashes on the Gold Coast on Friday morning and overnight.

Before 6:30am two cars collided in the centre lanes of the Smith Street Motorway.  That accident is causing delays eastbound before the Olsen Avenue exit.

In Nerang a car lost control on the M1 before exit 69 at 4:15am.  Two people were taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Then at around 8:00pm Thursday night a couple of cars came together at the intersection of West Burleigh Road and Taliban Street in Burleigh Heads.  Two people were taken to the Uni Hospital to be checked over.
