Special-needs bus driver charged with sexually assaulting school girl

The driver of a special-needs bus has been charged with sexually assaulting a school girl in Sydney’s south-west.

The 51-year-old man was arrested after officers executed a search warrant at a Bass Hill home around 6.45pm on Monday.

Police allege the man sexually and indecently assaulted the girl while alone with her on the bus earlier this year.

He has since been charged with aggravated sexual assault, and two counts of aggravated indecent assault.

He was refused bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court today.
