GOLD Coasters can expect another spectacular winter day today, with maximum temperatures tipped to be well above the average.
Forecasters predict the Coast will hit a top of 26 degrees – almost four degrees above the long-term average for August.
After dipping to a low of 14.6 degrees at 6.30 this morning, the mercury had already risen to a nice 21.4 degrees by 10am.

It’ll be mostly sunny for the best part of the day, before just the slight chance of a shower later tonight.
Tomorrow, the weather bureau is tipping cooler, more cloudier conditions with a high of just 20 degrees and a medium 50 per cent chance of a few morning showers.
