Christmas is almost here, which means St John’s Crisis Centre is in need of donations for their much-loved Christmas food hampers.
The Centre, which helps families in crisis, is hoping to put together at least 150 Christmas food and gift hampers to give to those in difficult situations this holiday season.
Last Christmas, the Centre was able to put together 120 hampers, but with a little extra help, believe that they’ll be able to go the extra mile this year.

St John’s is asking for non-perishable food items, as well as unwrapped gifts, to be delivered to the Anglican Church located at 73 Salerno St, Isle of Capri, between 9am – 12 noon any Monday to Friday up to the 7th December.
Vicky Nicoll, the Co-ordinator of St John’s Christmas Hamper Appeal says the hampers bring much needed happiness, and alleviate pressure on families.
“Each year with a wonderful team of volunteers St John’s provides over 100 Christmas hampers to families.
“Sadly, for some, these hampers may be the only Christmas cheer they will receive” Ms Nicoll said.
