STAFF have been forced to the floor at gunpoint during a terrifying hold up at a pizza shop in Townsville.
Police said a man wielding a rifle burst into the Main Street store around 10.50pm on Saturday and ordered the six staff members inside to get on the floor.
The man then allegedly helped himself to the cash registered, stealing a stash of cash, before fleeing on foot.

Police said the offender was seen jumping into a dark coloured Holden Commodore that was parked nearby and being driven by an accomplice.
Thankfully, no one was physically injured during the heist.
Detectives from the Townsville Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating the incident.
