Stinky flower turning plenty of heads

Crowds are building for Adelaide’s latest tourist attraction, a tall spike like flower that smells like rotting flesh.

Mount Lofty Botanic Garden in the Adelaide Hills is playing host to the endangered corpse flower, named for its distinctive odour.

Curious punters don’t have long to look and smell the interesting flower, 48 hours after it blooms, it collapses in on itself.

Photos on social media show long queues of people waiting to catch a glimpse of the plant.
