Stop, solve and prevent crime on the GC by becoming a Crime Stoppers volunteer
Crime Stoppers are inviting people who care about the safety of the Gold Coast community to volunteer to help stop, solve and prevent crime across the coast.
Crime Stoppers have volunteer groups in Coolangatta/Tweed, Gold Coast Central (Labrador to Tallebudgera Creek) and Gold Coast North (Labrador to Jacobs Well, spanning out to Mt Tamborine, Canungra and down to Nerang) – so there is guaranteed to be a group conveniently located near you.
Volunteers help with a variety of different roles, including promoting the Crime Stoppers anonymous hotline, website and free mobile app at events including school fetes and local shows as well as fundraising.
Anyone from the age of 15-years-old can become a volunteer, all you have to do is pass a police suitability check.
If you’re interested in helping out your local community, then you are encouraged to call 1800 333 000 or head to www.crimestoppersqld.com.au/discover/volunteering.jsp.
