MELBOURNE Storm are expected to announce today that Billy Slater has signed a two-year contract extension.
It’s been reported that the star full back signed of on the deal yesterday following lengthy negotiations with the Storm.
It would keep the veteran at the club until the end of the 2017 season, when he will be 34, and likely finish his career as a one-club NRL player alongside skipper Cameron Smith.

Slater has played with Melbourne since 2003 after being taken on as a 19-year-old.
The club have called a press conference for 10am.
