Stranded Australians have begun returning home from Bali as the volcanic ash cloud around Denpasar Airport clears up.
More than 850 people flew to Australia from Bali on Wednesday when conditions improved, despite continued eruptions from Mt Rinjani.
Jetstar has indicated it plans to operate all services to and from Bali on Thursday if the ash cloud remains clear.

In addition, the airline will bring back 2200 customers on 11 recovery flights.
All Virgin Australia flights from Australia to Bali remain cancelled on Thursday morning, although the airline will update customers on its plans at 11.00AM (AEDT).
