UPDATE @ MAY 19 | Police are calling for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward, after a man was tragically hit and killed by a truck in Beenleigh over the weekend.
The fatal incident happened on Sunrise Street just before 11.00am on Saturday morning.
Police say that a man was loading a vehicle onto a utility and trailer, when the rear righthide side was struck by a large Isuzu truck travelling past.

The 30-year-old man from Boronia Heights suffered critical injuries on impact, and died at the scene.
Investigators are now appealing for the driver of a white Toyota Corolla which was seen driving on Sunrise Street just before 11.00am to contact them.
Similarly, anyone who may have dash cam vision from Sunrise Street is being urged to come forward.
Investigations are continuing.
EARLIER @MAY 16 | A man has died after being hit by a truck in Beenleigh this morning.
Emergency crews rushed to Sunrise Street just before 11.00am, following reports a man had been seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle.
Upon arrival, critical care paramedics and the High Acuity Response Unit found one person with critical injuries.
According to police, the man was loading a vehicle onto a ute and trailer, when the rear right hand side was struck by a large Isuzu truck travelling past.
“As a result of the impact, the man sustained critical injuries,” police said.
Despite desperate attempts by paramedics, the 30-year-old man from Boronia Heights could not be saved and died at the scene.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations continue.
