Students hospitalised after taking drugs at Gold Coast camp

Two high school students have reportedly been rushed to a Gold Coast hospital after taking drugs.

It’s believed four Year 10 students from Brentwood Secondary College in Melbourne were on a six-day camp when they took LSD.

Two became sick and had to be treated in hospital.

Channel Nine reports, the school’s principal said the students would “face serious consequences”.

“Our first concern is always student safety, thankfully those involved are safe and well,” Vicki Forbes said in a statement.

“But I want to be clear, this sort of behaviour is completely unacceptable at our school.”

It’s not known if Police are involved.
