Gold Coast school targeted by vandals in heartless graffiti spree

A school on the northern Gold Coast has been the target of a shocking graffiti attack, with the school appealing for help to find the culprits.

The vandalism at Pimpama State Secondary College is believed to have occurred sometime on Tuesday night.

In photos posted to Facebook, two youths dressed in black hoodies can be seen using spray paint to deface walls and other property around the educational facility.

“If you recognise these two individuals by their clothing or adidas back pack please contact the school or leave a message over the weekend,” the post reads.

“They are responsible for considerable vandalism during the night.”

The school said it was the first time since its opening almost eight years ago that it has “experienced vandalism of this nature”.

“Such a shame and just pointless behaviour,” the school wrote.

Queensland Police confirmed they are investigating the incident.
